For this project I wanted to bring my graphic design background into my photography. I did so by placing experimental photos of Earth, Water, Wind & Fire I had taken into different layouts and positions. This work was put on display for the "Florence through American Eyes" Exhibit that was held in Florence, Italy at the Ganzo Gallery & Bistro.
Portraits in Florence

These photos were taken as a social experiment while living abroad. I went to Italy knowing little more than the words "Ciao" & "Bongiorno". After learning some Italian in my language class, I forced myself to meet strangers and ask to take a photo of them in Italian. I found this to be challenging, but I loved the portraits that I took.
Experimental Photography

After taking dark-room photography, I wanted to try my best to apply some techniques to my digital photography. I experimented with double exposures, lights, angles, and my ISO. Also, special thank you to my favorite model Brittany Hackett.
